**IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGES**

Welcome to our 2008 BMX Season.  We are very happy to announce that this year Rye Airfields BMX track is being rebuilt, however due to some uncooperative weather we will need to postpone our Open House, to complete our rebuild and the start of our season until Saturday, June 14th.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but we would like to ensure the very best and safest racing environment for our riders.  Please join us Saturday June 14 for our Open House and the kick off of our season with our first Local Race and State Qualifier #1.  Open House hours will be 10am-2pm, please join us at the track for some riding.  You will need to have a valid waiver signed with Rye Airfield to participate.  If you are under 18 please be sure to have a parent or legal guardian present to sign these forms.  Our first Local Race will have registration from 1pm-2pm with the race beginning at 2:30pm.  This race will be followed by State Qualifier #1, registration will be from 4-4:30 race begins at 5pm.  In the case of inclement weather please call the hotline for updated information at (603) 964-2800, ext. 21. We hope you can join us for a full day of BMX fun.

ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET-January 26th!!

Attention all BMX racers, our annual awards banquet will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2008, beginning at 4pm at Rye Airfield.  The dinner will be Pot Luck, so please bring your favorite dish or dessert. We will gather for food and awards and then all riders will receive a pass to ride the ramps for the remainder of the evening.  Please email Diane at bmxracing@verizon.net or call 207-363-8551 to let her know how many will be attending and what dish you will be sharing.

 

We are still working on the details for the upcoming season.  We hope to see you at the banquet, and wish you all a very Happy and Safe Holiday Season!!

Last Race of the Season


October 27-Last Race!!
Registration 4pm to 4:30pm
Race Begins at 5pm

We are hoping that the weather will hold out for us to have one more race this season.  The track is in need of repairs so if you are able to volunteer some time please contact Diane at 207-475-6862.  Please leave a message.

If the race needs to be cancelled, the cancellation will be noted on the BMX Hotline 603-964-2800, ext. 21, by 3pm. 

In the event that we cancel, please stay tuned to the BMX Blog for updates for our annual Awards Banquet in January 2008, and any other events that will be happening this winter.  We will hold another Pot Luck so please start thinking about what yummy dish you could bring to share.

Schedule Update

October 13 is a Local Race, first timers are free

October 20 is the REALLY Big Trophy Race.  Race Fee is $10 points only, $30 points and trophy.   

October 27 is a Local Race, first timers are free

 

REALLY BIG TROPHY RACE DATE and TIME CHANGED!!

Please note that the REALLY BIG TROPHY Race date has been changed to October 20, Registration from 4-4:30, Race beginning at 5pm.  Race Fee for this event is $10 for Points only, $30 for Points and a REALLY BIG Trophy.  Please remember that with these special events trophies will not be given out the night of the race.  These trophies are specially ordered after the race and we plan to have them available Saturday October 27th at our Last Race of the Year…..

 

Congratulations to our State Champions 2007

Congratulations to all of the riders in this years New Hampshire State Championship Series.  I hope everyone had a great time.  You all showed the crowd some awesome racing and should be very proud of yourselves for your accomplishments…..

I do have the song and I try to cut a piece for Saturday.  Is there a particular part she likes best?  The song can only be 1:10 at the most, so it might be hard cutting her favorite song, but I will try.  If she wants to sit with your brother and have him do it, that is fine to.  Just let me know.
